Procedural Safeguards

To safeguard all of the customer information handled within Sage Direct, we maintain strict physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information against unauthorized access. Key procedural safeguards include:

Employee Training:

Only Sage employees that have received proper training are authorized to receive or make phone calls to discuss customer information. These employees are only authorized to request validation of information and cannot obtain any other unsolicited customer data.

Defined Responsibilities:

Sage maintains an employee manual that clearly states the privacy and confidentiality responsibilities of each associate related to their handling of customer information.

Vendor Review:

All contract service vendors working for Sage are required to supply us with their Privacy Policy and/or Information Safeguard Plans. These policies are reviewed to determine that their compliance standards and safeguards match the same high standards and criteria adhered to by Sage Direct.
