Physical Safeguards

To safeguard all of the customer information handled within Sage Direct, we maintain strict physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information against unauthorized access. Key physical safeguards include:

Restricted Access:

All customer information is kept in restricted office areas and is accessible only to authorized Sage Direct employees. Any customer information that needs to be disposed of is placed in locked shred bins located in restricted areas.

No Duplicates:

All paper statements produced at Sage Direct from customer data are placed directly by our employees into mail containers regulated by the U.S. Postal Service. If for some reason these statements cannot be mailed, they are placed in locked shred bins. No paper copies of statements are maintained.

Fire Protection:

Sage has fire alarms and extinguishers throughout the building. ADP monitors the fire alarm system. The fire department and the owners will be notified in the event of a fire. The staff has been trained in the proper use of both the fire alarm system and the extinguishers.

Disaster Recovery:

Sage Direct has an off-site disaster recovery data center and mail processing redundancy plan. If you are interested in receiving a copy of this plan, please call 1-800-729-8310 and request a Disaster Recovery information package.
