Physical Safeguards

  • Restricted Access
    • All customer information is kept in a restricted area accessible only to authorized Sage Direct personnel. All information tagged for disposal is placed in locked bins for shredding.
  • No Duplication
    • No paper copies of statements are produced. All customer data-generated paper statements go directly into U.S. Postal Service-regulated containers. Statements that cannot be mailed go into locked shred bins.
  • Fire Protection
    • Sage maintains a monitored fire alarm system. Staff is trained in proper use of the alarm system, as well as in the extinguishers located throughout our facility. Should a fire incident occur, our local fire department and company owners are immediately notified.
  • Disaster Recovery
    • Sage Direct has an off-site disaster recovery data center and a mail processing redundancy plan, a copy of which is available upon request.
